News from Chip Cheek, Eugenio Volpe and Jessica Keener complete this week’s writer round-up.

Chip Cheek, formerly a reader at Quick Fiction litmag and once on staff at Grub Street, announced on Friday, Jan. 27:

Check out my story “Negative Six” in Issue No. 41 of Harvard Review, which is now available! Yay! Also in this issue is a wonderful story by fellow Grub Street instructor Michelle Seaton. Thanks to Christina Thompson and everyone at HR.

Debut author Jessica Keener is this week’s Newton Tab person of the week.
